Contains earliest Tracks from 77-81 plus Tracks from the Terse-Releases Earbidden, Clean, the long lost Side 3-Tape, Blubberknife,Cheesecake and various other tracks from 83-85 To subscibe this treaure it is best to state what Tom Ellard had to say: „And here we have it - the ultimate produce of the new millennium. A box of vinyl discs with music from as much as thirty years ago. Could something express any less faith in the future? My guess is that we seek to capture some ’purity’ that has since been encrusted with quibbles. It’s a hopeless fetish that leads in an ever contracting spiral - music is born continuously and defies attempts to capture it in decorative tombs. Nevertheless. We have here a very decorative tomb. Music made from 1977 onwards by people who would be identified for a time as ’Severed Heads’. Much is by Richard Fielding who left in 1982. Some by Andrew Wright, gone in 1980. Some by Bradbury, left in 1985, Deering also. In each case the music has been taken from the best copy, cleaned only as much as needed and organised to fit onto long playing vinyl. It is ancient, funny, half arsed, crinkly, clever and juvenile. It was compiled by a prick. All proceeds will be spent by Fielding on horse races. Buy two because they will wear out." VOD51: Experimental Products - PROTOTYPE plus GARAGE TRACKS Lp-2 (für MItglieder mit Bonus 7") 19,99 €
A 12" vinyl, double record set containing the music of EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTS. If you are a long time collector of 80s indie minimal synth looking to fill out your catalog or a novice interested in starting one up, there is no better place to start than with EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTS. A synth duo from Philadelphia/Northern Delaware USA, members Mark Wilde and Michael Gross produced 8-track gear recordings, then had their music pressed to vinyl. In 1984 they released the 3 song 12" EP "Glowing in the Dark", 2000 copies. "Glowing" proved irresistible to DJs and became a 1985 dance club chart breakthrough. Today, many DJs and collectors consider it a "classic" synth record. 2 years before "Glowing" they released a 10 song vinyl LP titled "PROTOTYPE", 300 copies. PROTOTYPE remained an obscure record until minimal synth collectors caught wind of it in the late 90s. PROTOTYPE became a high priced bidding item whenever the rare vinyl showed up on E-Bay. It seems EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTS had again produced what many collectors consider a "classic" 80s minimal synth record. VOD is now pleased to announce the re-issue of PROTOTYPE to high quality vinyl. Re-mastered by VOD from the original 1/4" master tapes, this re-issue has improved sonic quality not found on the original 1982 pressings. Own it now, experience it for yourself. PROTOTYPE will be LP-1 side A+B of the VOD double record set. GARAGE TRACKS, LP-2 of the EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTS record set will hopefully become yet another classic piece of synthesizer vinyl. A "garage track" is described by M. Gross as a primitive to semi-pro sound recording not necessarily intended for public distribution. Originally intended or not, VOD now offer them to the synth loving public. GARAGE TRACKS side-A contains 5 unreleased songs from 1985, all synth-drum machine, again produced with 8-track gear this time in a band spare bedroom. Anyone familiar with the band can expect more EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTS brilliance. GARAGE TRACKS side-B contains six songs from a 1983 LIVE performance. There are live versions of 4 songs from PROTOTYPE, an unreleased song, and the song Mannequin from the "Glowing" EP.
Members will furthermore recieve a 3-Track-7" with more Garage Tracks recorded during the Prototype recording sessions from 1981 and believe me, when listening to the Track „Einstein" it will make your heart jump on excitement. Believe me. I guess I listened to it already 100 times!
VOD52: GERECHTIGKEITS LIGA Per Ignem Ad Lucem (1981-1987) Lp-2 / DVD in Army-Boot-Bag (for members with additional Bonus 7") 24,99 €
Gerechtigkeits Liga is the band/project which evolves around Till Brüggemann. In the early 80’s GL travelled to London to meet up with Domnik Guerin of Twin Vision/SPK. Dominik introduced them to Graeme Revell and Brian Williams of Lustmord, who were running Side Effects Records and both of them decided to release an album by GL. Two more GL tracks were also released on the seminal compilation Vhutemas Archetypi, which also featured groups like Laibach, Lustmord & SPK.
The band is known for their mystical, almost martial and epic sounds, which can easily upset the listeners emotions. Nothing for weak nerves... VOD and TB compiled a perfect supplement to the Lp Hypnotischer Existenzialismus.
The double Lp set is covering the very early musical period of the band. It includes outtakes, tape-contributions, a live performance from LA, as well as a Berlin Atonal-performance. Attached you will also find a DVD with disturbing footage of early Video clips, a short Film as well as some other rare live Video clips from New York City. The release comes in a silk-screened Army-Boot-Bag and members will receive a Bonus 7".

S.P.K. – DESPAIR DIGITALLY EXTRACTED, DVD Pal regionfree 18,99 €
After being hidden in time for about 25 years this industrial milestone of the infamous 1st generation got renovated extended and digitally overworked by CaTV. Cathy Vogan - Media Artist & Designer has been three times nominated for Video Art Award and received ZKM (Karlsuhe) Production Award for her work! Check it out here: http://vogania.com/VOGANIA.html . A true statement and monument for the outstanding band S.P.K. who gathered together under so many names like: SoliPsiK, Selektiv Pornography Kontrol, Sozialistisches Patienten Kollektiv, System Planning Korporation just to name a few, and with this release a new name is created: "Schuldig an der Pervertierung der Kultur ". Twin Vision, Cat TV and Tesco Germany presents the only group in industrial musics history that stands on the same level as Throbbing Gristle, for some even above. Influence to so many followers. The project ideal is to express the content of various psycho -pathalogical conditions, especially schizophrenia, manic - depressive psychosis, mental retardation and paranoia. Information Overload supersedes normal, rational thought structures, forcing deviation into less restrictive mental procedures of so-called ’mental illness’. SPK is trying to be a voice for those individuals condemned to the slow decay of mental hospitals and chemical / electro / surgical therapy, without fetishising them into blatant entertainment product. ’SONIC FOR MANICS’ aims to be a vehicle for sharing mental experiences through sound. This DVD compiles material that marked the genesis of the group . The members at that time were known as Operator, Ne(H)il and Tone Generator. Like rare live moments of the bands, energetic performances covering music from "Leichenschrei" to "Information Overload", Live rehearsal footage from " Auto Dafe", slide shows, documentary and a filmed interview with Tone Generator aka Domink Guerin founding member and man behind Twin Vision. NOCTURNAL EMISSIONS Songs of Love and Revolution/ No Sacrifice CD in a limited edition of 400 copies only. 14,99 €
Sterile Records 7 was to be the Nocturnal Emission’s most successful album ever. "Songs of Love and Revolution" was a big step forward for the band, having a full colour cover and turning the NE sound further towards electronic pop music. Classics such as "No Sacrifice" and "Never give up" have made this an essential album for every fan of electronic music. For this re-issue we have used the original vinyl album for the audio master as the first CD version sounded very flat and had hardly any bass on it. In addition, we are happy to present you all three tracks off the "No Sacrifice" 12" single that was issued a year before on Sterile as SR6, plus the much sought after minimial electronics track "Don..t believe it..s over"..
NOCTURNAL EMISSIONS Tissues of Lies GG122 CD in a limited edition of 400 copies only. 14,99 €
Tissue of Lies was the Nocturnal Emissions’ first album, released on the band’s own Sterile Records label as EMISS001 in 1980. A CD version, out on Dark Vinyl years later, was quite a different recording from the LP (Tissue of Lies-Revised). We are now proud to present you its original version for the first time on CD! Nigel Ayers has remastered this album from a vinyl copy, so please be aware that you will hear some hiss and clicks that could not be avoided. Musically, TOL shows you NE’s Industrial roots most clearly - from noisy collages the album leads to classic Industrial music, sometimes the sounds and effects remind one of early Cabaret Voltaire or even Throbbing Gristle. As always, we bring you this CD with restored original artwork.
ICH BIN "Obéis!" (LP, Poutre Apparente, PALP-001, 2006) 14,99 €
The brand new parisian label Poutre Apparente is proud to announce the reissue of 90’s superb cybernetic electro renewal classic tape from South Corsica band, ICH BIN: Minimal wave beats, broken electronics, radical synthetizer and possessed vocals finely inspired by great philosophical ideas appeared in Europe since the industrial revolution. Colder than the coldest corsican winter, like Kraftwerk meeting Suicide in North Poland. Warehousemen in a secret petrochemical factory in the north of Corsica, the four members of ICH BIN began to play together in 1988 with materials recovered on a failed boat transporting electronic instruments manufactured in Korea. They developed year after year this so particular manner to play and sing probably coming from the physical and mental state of the musicians regularly exposed to a great dose of chemical emanations during their work in factory."Actually, we almost never played in Corsica", remember the members of the band, "apart from our very first concert for this festival in 1988 called Calvi, c’est fini where we opened for La Ricotta, a polyphonic fusion band from Corte. The only response we had to our music was a dozen of Pietra (Corsica number one beer) bottles thrown at us in the first minutes of Danger"... "We recorded a tape at studio Leoneti shortly after this disastrous experience. It was basically a four-track session, with raw versions of Industrie Lourde and Body Building. We sent one copy to Radio Pays who returned it back to us saying things like "Sorry, but we don’t understand, it doesn’t sound very corsican"". Some tapes were also discreetly sent to a small network of K7/fanzines in France, but most of them were shocked or didn’t even reply, at the exception of belgian label Pneu who released a brilliant cd-r in 2002. End of 80’s, beginning of 90’s were the apogee of Grunge music and Noise rock from the US à la Jesus Lizard, Unsane … etc. and the electronic sound of ICH BIN was totally deviant. They were far ahead from 10 years of the electro-punk/electro-clash revival of the beginning of the 21st century. Considering Corsica like the last french industrial post-nuclear area wasn’t hype at all at that time. And still really isn’t. This can partly explain the perpetual misunderstanding about the band. Unfortunately, they splitted in 2003 after a last concert at a Christmas party, mainly for political reasons. They definitively stopped playing music after this gig. All of the members still live in south of Corsica nowadays and work in different restaurant-hotel-swimming pool complexes.

Most tracks are heard for the very first time. It was indeed a task compiling this one but it was so worth it! DADA DI MUSICA and The TWO are projects by Dutch artist Hero Wouters, JEFF WALTON was normally not into electronics but some day the American seemed to feel like recording this electropop hit. BOYS DU SEVERE was a Canadian project from around the mysterious MONTY CANTSIN/Neoism circles. INFORMATICS and their member VALEK from Australia need not much presentation, you all surely know their release ’Accidents in Paradise’. BERND KUNZE from Germany was found by accident He’s a home recording artist much in the vein of IAN ELMS. THE HIGHER PRIMATES from the USA are also well-known by now. VEX from Canada comprising Alan Lord and Bernard Gagnon (CHAM PANG) present the earliest track on this compilation dating back to 1979, a truly pioneering work! INVISIBLE ZOO from the USA bring us a powerful electropop tune. SOLITAIRE from the USA was a one-man project with pioneering live-electronics. Already in 1976, he was jamming with Vangelis and Tim Blake in Paris, and he was also testing the KORG MS20 in its flat prototype version (and is still owning and using a MS10 prototype today!). In 1982, he released his first album "Jazz’mad" which definitely is in Anna’s Top-5-electronic-music-albums list. The unique weirdness and brilliance of this album is unequalled and a class of its own. Érick never stopped playing and recording electronic music, but, of course, styles changed over the years. In late 2006, "Jazz’mad" was nearing its 25 years anniversary, and thus Anna asked Érick if he wasn’t interested in recording a sister album to it - in "Jazz’mad" style, of course! Érick enthusiastically agreed and armed himself with his two Kawai Synthesizer-100Fs, Korg KR-33, CRB’1969 Diamond 742, Roland Juno-60, Roland JX-3P, MXR phaser 100, Boss Flanger BF-2 and SDE200 Delay. Paired with his weird performing skills, "Minilab" is a worthy companion to "Jazz’mad" and no-one into minimal electronics shall miss out on it. Record features: - 12"LP, 160 gramms, 33 1/3 rpm plus 7", 45 rpm, black vinyls - high quality pressing made in the Netherlands - limited pressing of 400 copies - 10 previously unreleased tracks - colour LP sleeve and additional b/w 7" sleeve - lyrics sheets for both 12" and 7" - signed and hand numbered photo - polyethylene inner sleeve for vinyl protection
SUDETEN CRECHE "Wounds"7"EP Anna Logue Records 012.2007 7,50 €
a1 Glorious Treason 5:23 aa1 Wounds3:23aa2 Rogues 2:16 SUDETEN CRECHE is Mark Warner and Paul Carlin from the UK and probably they need not much presentation. Their minimalistic electropop track "Are Kisses are out of Fashion", originally released on the 1982 compilation EP "Europe in the Year Zero" (which amongst others also featured Yazoo), is widely known and respected. Furthermore, they released the four-track 12"EP "Kindergarten" in 1983 on Illuminated Records, which is, of course, very hard to find these days. Anyway, Mark and Paul teamed up again and recorded new tracks for their upcoming album "Kisses from the Creche" - for more info please visit www.sudetencreche.com - and the 7"EP released on Anna Logue Records kind of marks a pre-release presenting alternative versions of "Glorious Treason" and "Wounds", while "Rogues" is an exclusive track for this vinyl release. This is electropop at its best, both for the dancefloor and the mind and shall bring SUDETEN CRECHE back to publicity and a promising future. Record features:- 7" black vinyl, 45 rpm- high quality pressing made in the Netherlands - limited pressing of 400 copies- 3 previously unreleased tracks- hand numbered and signed photo- lyrics sheet- hand numbered photo- polyethylene inner sleeve for vinyl protection- transparent record sleeves for sleeve protection

CULTURAL AMNESIA "Enormous Savages" LP (first ed. ltd.130 w. Cd) ANNA 15,99 €
The English band CULTURAL AMNESIA were first active 1979 to 1983, making a kind of post-industrial electropop. With her listeners’ tastes in mind, Anna has selected nine tracks to introduce this original and interesting postpunk electro band. None of the music has been available for more than 20 years, and three of the songs are released for the very first time on the LP „Enormous Savages". COIL fans will be interested to know that the lyrics to three of the songs were written by Geoff Rushton/John Balance, who was a big supporter of the band. In the last few years CA have been making music again, and the first 130 „Enormous Savages" will be accompanied by a „Little Savage", a four-track mini-CD of new and recent material. Karl Bösmann Eskalation Lp (lmtd.500) YOUDO03 19,99 €
Escalating drone sounds like a mixture of Cluster/Kluster and KTL or Sunn O))) with vocal parts in the style of Tazartes and tibetan monks. The 20 minutes long title track sounds like a swelling version of Nurse With Wound’s "Soliloqui for Lilith". Comes in deluxe silver foil cover, with silver foil insert and label stickers. Printed inner sleeve and additional inserts also included. If you thought VOD-Records produced high-end classy deluxe design, buy this record and you will realize that there is also another league of cover-design. This is by far the best design for a record sleeve ever on this planet!!!! It is a MUST BUY even without listening to it.

"a limited edition of 333 copies comes sealed in a black plastic bag" "A Dark Wave From The Black Sea" is the title of the forthcoming cat.no. 005 on the well-appreciated Exil-System imprint, a fifteen track various artists compilation focusing on electronic music produced in countries around and close to the Black Sea like Romania, Georgia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Turkey. Artists as different as Masstyk, Mihai Popoviciu, Aeronautica, Sun40 and others share the same vision and serve a menu of mostly 4-to-the-floor-based music, influenced by classical Electro-sounds, a bit of Minimal Techno, Drexciya’esque arrangements and athmosphere plus - as it seems - appreciation for all of the Clone/Viewlexx-crew and their blueprint of (Neo) ItaloDisco, which makes this one quite essential for lovers of high quality club music. All tracks are a pleasure to dance to plus they’re complex and musically interesting enough to enjoy throughout homelistening sessions in yr armchair as well. DR C. STEIN - "LIÈGE IN THE SPRING" (tut008) 10", black vinyl lim. 514 14,99 €
Second chapter of Treue um Treue’s collaboration with synthesizer magician Dr C. STEIN, "Liège in the Spring" presents a new selection of songs which, like the analogue gems released last year on "Echo Trip", were all initially recorded between 1983 and 1988. But this time the mood is different, more versatile and adventurous. Here solemn and experimental, there playful and dance-floor orientated, this second vinyl appearance gives a fuller measure of the artist’s multiple talent. This time the Doctor not only plays, but also occasionally sings for you and even comes back to his first love, the flute, on one track.
JONATHAN COLECLOUGH&ANDREW LILES „Torch Songs"2LP(DS93) 19,99 €
»Torch Songs« is a collaboration between Jonathan Coleclough and Andrew Liles. They met in October 2004 when they both performed at Intergration 3 in Preston, UK. Liles subsequently reworked the recording of Coleclough’s solo performance from that evening. He went on to add, subtract, multiply and divide further live recordings supplied by Coleclough, and the eventual result was this double LP. »Torch Songs« is packaged in a gatefold sleeve featuring »I dreamt I was a river«, a poem composed and painted by Geoff Sawers during a performance with Coleclough in Geneva in March 2005. The sound of Geoff’s brush painting this lettering can be heard on side B of »Torch Songs«. There is a special edition of »Torch Songs« (250 copies) which includes an additional CD of Coleclough’s solo performance at Intergration 3, the basis for some of the music on »Torch Songs«. The album comes in a full colour gatefold sleeve with full colour inner sleeves in a limited edition of 500 copies. 180gr. Vinyl.
CHEN YI "1978-1983" WVINYL 012 LP 13,99 €
The sound of CHEN YI is rough & brutal... electronic music, soundcollages that reminds to Throbbing Gristle or (early)SPK aswell as electro-pop-tracks & songs like early Cabaret Voltaire, Chris & Cosey, Severed Heads... The Chen Yi Commune was founded in 1978 by about 20 women & men from London. The aim of the commune was to create a closed subsystem, a kind of subsociety and to narrow down its contact to the outside world only on very few specific actions. The Chen Yi commune never was interested in producing records, some of the members even refused any form of release whatsoever. In 1981 one member released a tape edition called "Hanging³. The title referred to the first 3 english witches who were hanged in Chelmsford, where the commune house was located. This cassette was sent to various record companies. John Peel saw a potential in Chen Yi which led to a recording contract in 1982/83 with CBS. About 7 tracks were produced for the first Chen Yi LP... ...More couldn’t be finalised, because CBS suddenly pulled out of the contract. This left unfinished tapes of an LP.The material on this LP contains completely finished song-material as well as rough session-recordings using early electronic studio equipment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY VOD-STAFF!!!
- Philip Sanderson "Reprint" CD Anomalous Records (U.S.) NOM23 14,99 €
Reprint was originally released on cassette by Snatch Tapes in 1980 and was credited to an unknown duo called Claire Thomas & Susan Vezey. A press release accompanying the cassette painted a picture of two pre-Raphaelite synthesiser knob-twiddlers who in between repatching their VCS3’s went for long walks in flowing robes on Blackheath. Intrigued, the record label Cherry Red included the duo on their compilation LP "Perspectives and Distortion" alongside such luminaries as Matt Johnson, Virgin Prunes, Lol Coxhill, Lemon Kittens, Eyeless in Gaza, Mark Perry, Ben Watt, Thomas Leer, Morgan-Fisher, Robert Fripp, and David Jackman. Cherry Red furthermore wanted to release an LP by Thomas & Vezey. Until they realised that all was not as it seemed. Claire and Susan were in fact a figment of Snatch Tapes founder Philip Sanderson’s imagination. In addition to running the label, Philip was one half of the DIY electronic group Storm Bugs, and regularly collaborator with a then unknown musician by the name of David Jackman (one of these tracks they did together was recent issued on a 10" by Die Stadt). "Reprint" was in effect one of his few solo recordings. The first track Bright Waves (an earlier version of the track on the Cherry red LP) with its fragile wispy vocals that blow in and out on a tape delay breeze certainly adds credence to the Claire and Susan subterfuge. However the rest of the music on the CD suggest that this was more than a situationist prank. The description on the sleeve of the music as "a study in repetition and change using two different sources and two different treatments..." was a nod towards the materialist approaches being used during the 70’s in most (fine) art forms. "Reprint One" and "Reprint Two" use the loop formed by a tape delay to build up busy percussive patterns. Recorded live, the VCS3 triggered by a sequencer feeds in a set of constantly chattering rhythms. As the loops pass repeatedly over the tape heads the sound gradually degrades turning eventually into pure white noise. What starts out as a polyrhythmic perversity, somewhat akin to electronic tap dancing, builds into a wall of sound. Also here is the piece "Under Press of Sail" (which was featured on the compilation "Snatch 3" and the "0° North" tape by David Jackman and Philip Sanderson), and the secret bonus track "Nein Nein Nein", which was only included a few copies of the original tape release of "Reprint". Unlike the other tracks, this was done in collaboration with fellow Storm Bug Steven Ball. Using a low-tech five-minute answer-phone cassette loop with the erase head disabled, the two built up a montage of sounds which were fed through a home-made ring modulator. The music of Reprint is a peculiar combination of academic rigour married to an inverted pop art aesthetic. For whereas pop art incorporated the cheap intoxication’s of consumer culture into the supposed lofty rooms of high art, here was an attempt to incorporate the form or perhaps just the smell high art into the low brutality of DIY electronics.

The CD has the original cover artwork as well as previously unpublished images. Full album, includes bonus tracks not on the Beastings CD re-issue. Remastered by Steven Stapleton and Colin Potter. "’Riding the Red Rag’ closes the album with Diana’s singing voice over what could easily by a Roland drum machine circa 1985, played live with tons of delay, combined with guitar and other instruments that drone. The almost genre-defying qualities of ’Riding the Red Rag’ lead me to believe it could have easily been recorded at the same sessions for Melchior with HNAS."(Brainwashed, June 2005)

An anthropological inquiry into a contemporary social enigma-the increasingly popular revival of ancient human decoration practices such as symbolic/deeply personal tattooing, multiple piercings, and ritual scarification. "Primitive" actions which rupture conventional confines of behavior and aesthetics are objectively scrutinized. In context of the death of global frontiers, this volume charts the territory of the last remaining underdeveloped source of first-hand experience: the human body.

- Holger Hiller / Thomas Fehlmann Wir bauen eine Stadt Lp 9,99€
GR 2017 Wir bauen eine Stadt, a composition out of the year 1930 by Paul Hindemith for children orchestra. The amazing electronic re-interpretation of Holger Hiller and Thomas Fehlmann released in 1981 on ATA TAK has now been re-released on Gagarin Records. We are proud like ties, or prunes, whatever... In 1930 the German composer Paul Hindemith (1895-1963) wrote a series of small pieces for school orchestras. It was described as a „play for children" depicting the construction and survey of a modern city. The unusual thing about it is the age of its inhabitants: „In our city the grown ups have no say. Our mayor is seven years old, and all uncles and aunties are children. Even the traffic warden is a child." Holger Hiller and Thomas Fehlmann, founding members of the 1980’s influential band Palais Schaumburg, re-interpreted the play in 1981. Their use of electronic instruments and voice effects not only gives new life to the futuristic character of the pieces, but also subtly hints to its origins in the world of adults.
