No More
No More were founded in the summer of 1979 by Christian (Drums,
Voices), Ugly (Bass), Tina (Keyboards) and Andy (Vocals, Guitar) in
Kiel, a town by the sea in the northern part of Germany. Ugly
left the band at the end of 1980 and the rest continued as a trio up to
the end of 1983 when Yvonne Pfeiffer entered the band. She was replaced
by Thorsten Hartung in spring 1984. After the release of
Suicide Commando and especially after Rose is a Rose No More decided to
change their style into a mixture of dark wave with oriental elements. They
toured Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands and developed a performance
that was much wilder and rougher than on their recordings. No More decided to go separate ways in 1986, shortly after finishing their LP Hysteria.
