Maurizio Bianchi
Evidences Volume 1: Final Industrial Music 1980
Vinyl On Demand VOD-38
5xLP Box Set
£56.99

Another incredible set from the sainted Vinyl-On-Demand whose documenting of every last schlurp and roar of the post-TG/Whitehouse/NWW European Industrial scene remains totally unparalleled in terms of attention to detail, archive-hoovering thoroughness and loving presentation. This is the second of their Maurizio Bianchi sets and it presents all of the cassettes he recorded across the course of 1980 pressed on heavy duty vinyl for the first time ever. Presenting Blut, Mectpyo, Gene-P, Nervo/Hydra and Atomique/Morder in deluxe individual art sleeves housed in a sturdy silver-embossed black box, the sub-title of Final Industrial Music is no mere hubris – this feels like some of the most extreme and ecstatically realised eroticised metal machine music to come out of the whole Industrial revolution, with the kind of extended white light aspect that would later fuel units as diverse as CCCC, Total, Wolf Eyes, Haino circa Milky Way, Double Leopards and more. Limited hand-numbered edition of only 600 copies and already completely sold-out at souce. Highly recommended.
